Kutztown, PA Delaware Historic Radio Club Meet- Spring 2008
May 9-10, 2008
Hagstar's Travels > Kutztown, PA Delaware Historic Radio Club Meet- Spring 2008
All pictures are from Saturday morning.

I got there late- about dinnertime Friday due to my van losing a wheel bearing in Scranton on the trip down. BUT once there the usual warm hospitality of this meet made that LONG day at the Ford dealer worth it. Despite some damp weather on Friday attendance by both sellers and buyers was strong both days. Saturday was dry and cool, my own sales were brisk. Fellow collectors told me Friday was busy from noon on. I also attended some of the new indoor auction put on by Estes Auctions on Friday night.

I took more pictures this year to capture more of this event's personality. The last few of my dogs frolicking were taken at the hideaway in the Poconos where gracious friend Peter put me up on Sat. night on the way home. Thanks again a million to our hosts the DVHRC for their usual stupendous effort. Get your reservations early for the Sept 19th and 20th, 2008 meet l!

My table near the end of the show- I sold 3/4 of what I brought

Behind the speaker is a Ritz can full of old transistors. It sat all day on my table with a giant $10- price tag. I donated it to the club at the auction and it sold for $57-!
